Alpine Linux是由社区开发的操作系统，它面向x86路由器、防火墙、虚拟专用网、IP电话盒及服务器而设计。它在设计时就贯彻了安全的理念，包含了一些主动 安全特性如PaX和SSP，它们能防止软件中的漏洞被敌手加以利用。该系统采用的C语言库是musl，基础工具则都在BusyBox中。它们在嵌入式系统 中很常见，它们比GNU/Linux系统中的工具要小。

We are pleased to announce Alpine Linux 3.1.0, the first release in v3.1 stable series.

This release is built with musl libc and is not compatible with v2.x and earlier, so special care needs to be taken when upgrading.

Please refer to the documentation for information on how to perform the upgrade.

Some of the new features are:

  • support for openvswitch
  • Xen 4.4
  • a release build for Rasberry PI (arm hardfloat)
