ReactOS 0.3.16 发布，Windows NT的开源实现

        ReactOS 是一个基于 Windows NT 架构设计原则的开源操作系统。Windows XP、Windows 7、Windows Server 2012 等均基于 Windows NT 架构。目前，ReactOS 最新的 0.3.15 版本仍然处于 alpha 阶段。

        ReactOS 并不基于 Linux 或 UNIX，它的所有代码都经过重新编写。ReactOS 项目的主要目标是提供一个与 Windows 环境二进制兼容的操作系统，可以让 Windows 应用程序和驱动程序在 ReactOS 上运行。

        同时，ReactOS 也提供了一个类似 Windows 操作系统外观特性的界面，对于已经熟悉 Windows 的用户来说，很容易学习。

        近日，ReactOS 项目在众筹网站 Kickstarter 上发起融资项目，试图筹集 12 万美元开发 ReactOS 的云桌面商业发行版 Thorium Core。截止发稿时间止，仅筹得 188 美元。

Today the project announced the availability of the latest alpha release - version 0.3.16: " The ReactOS project is pleased to announce the release of version 0.3.16. A little under a year has passed since the previous release and a significant amount of progress has been made. Some of them include completion of the CSRSS rewrite and the first stages of a shell32 rewrite. 0.3.16 is a prelude to several new features that will provide a noticeable enhancement to user-visible functionality. A preview can be seen in the form of theme support which can be turned on to demonstrate the Lautus theme. Another user-visible change is a new network card driver for the RTL8139."
