Along with transferring your files quickly and efficiently, FireFTP also includes more advanced features such as: directory comparison, syncing directories while navigating, SFTP, SSL encryption, search/filtering, integrity checks, remote editing, drag & drop, file hashing, and much more!
2. IE Tab 2 : Just like the classic IE Tab, this updated version of IE Tab allows you to use IE to display web pages in a tab within FireFox. This updated version includes support for FireFox 3.6 and will continue to be updated with new features and enhancements.
3. EditCSS : Stylesheet modifier in the Sidebar. Very basic-wannabe CSS tester for your page.
4. View Source Chart : Inspect the DOM at lightning speed and learn HTML at lightning speed. Eyesight is the most efficient way for the human brain to process information. By placing visual boundaries where they already exist invisibly, Source Charting enables you to take in DOM structure and hierarchy as fast as your brain possibly can.
5. Mobilify : It slims down the content of pages and applies a phone frame to better simulate the Firefox Mobile UI for iterative local development. Mobilify places an icon in your Addon Bar that lets you switch a page into “mobile” mode- narrowing the <body> to 320px, darkening the surrounding content, and placing your content in a mobile phone ‘frame’. Simply click the ‘widescreen’ icon to enable mobile mode, and click again to disable.
6. Firebug : Firebug integrates with Firefox to put a wealth of development tools at your fingertips while you browse. You can edit, debug, and monitor CSS, HTML, and JavaScript live in any web page.
7. CodeBurner for Firebug : CodeBurner is a Firefox add-on that integrates with Firebug, to extend it with reference material for HTML and CSS. The extension’s core functionality is centered around a new Reference panel, which contains a search tool for looking up HTML elements, attributes, and CSS properties.
The extension also hooks into context-menus in the HTML and CSS panels, the DOM crumbtrail, and the Inspector, adding options to look up a selected item (ie. search for it in the Reference panel) or to view a code example.
8. Firepicker for Firebug : This add-on adds a small color picker dialog when editing a CSS rule in Firebug. The addon scans for values that can be parsed as CSS colors (#abc, rgb(1,2,3), blue, red etc.) and displays them in a drop-down list right below the firebug’s CSS editor box. Clicking on the color value in the drop-down brings up a color picker dialog.

12. HTML5toggle : This add-on provides a button which makes it easy to turn on or off the HTMl5 support in Firefox 4. Given that HTML5 support is still evolving, some websites do not work as expected when HTML5 support in Firefox 4 is enabled. For example many early adopters of Firefox 4 have problems with Hotmail. Turning off HTML5 support enables such users to use their Hotmail accounts.
13. Total Validator : All new HTML5 and XHTML5 validation. Provides true HTML validation for HTML 2.0 through to XHTML 1.1 using the official DTDs, plus added attribute and other tests. So you no longer have to put up with the limitations of the W3C validator (no type checking) and tools like HTML Tidy which interpret the standards incorrectly as they don’t use the official DTDs.
14. Console2 : As of Firefox 1.5, the JavaScript Console is used not only for JavaScript errors, but for CSS errors as well. This extension takes this into account by providing a simple possibility to display errors by type.
Console² let’s you display errors filtered by type (Errors, Warnings, Messages), language (JavaScript, CSS, XML) and context (Chrome, Content). Furthermore it provides a simple search box (as seen in the History and Bookmarks sidebars), hiding of duplicates, sidebar optimizations, a customizable toolbar and some more accessibility improvements.
15. Screenshot Pimp : Screenshot Pimp creates an image of whatever is inside you’re web browser. So whether your checking out a new website, a web app, or simply want want to archive what you see in your browser window to disk, Screenshot Pimp is a must have for both beginner and advanced users.
Screenshot Pimp is a lot more than just regular screen grabber or a screen shot utility. It has the ability to not only capture the part of the website that you see, but also the rest of the website that you have not scrolled down to yet. So whether the part of the website you don’t see has more text, or an image, or even flash content that is just too big to fit on the page without shrinking or scrolling, Screenshot Pimp allows the user to grab it in multiple formats, and save it to your hard drive.
16. iMacros for Firefox : iMacros was designed to automate the most repetitious tasks on the web. If there’s an activity you have to do repeatedly, just record it in iMacros. The next time you need to do it, the entire macro will run at the click of a button!
With iMacros, you can quickly and easily fill out web forms, remember passwords, create a webmail notifier, download information from other sites, scrape the Web (get data from multiple sites), and more. You can keep the macros on your computer for your own use, or share them with others by embedding them on your homepage, blog, company Intranet or any social bookmarking service. The uses are limited only by your imagination!
